The project

This 2026 Ford Explorer ST came to us nearly new and already looking sharp — but its owner is the particular type who wants a vehicle protected properly from day one. Rather than leave the factory paint exposed, they wanted it corrected and sealed by a specialist so it would stay looking its best for years.

Even a fresh finish picks up light imperfections early — a few swirl marks and fine scratches were already visible in direct sunlight. We started with a full exterior decontamination, then ran a stage-one paint correction — a cut-and-polish in a single step — to remove that light swirling and the fine scratches and level the finish. With the paint refined, we sealed the whole vehicle with a 5-year ceramic coating across every painted surface and the exterior trim, locking in the gloss and giving the finish long-term protection that makes future washes quick and gentle.
